Law no. 155 of 19.10.2017 – Judgment of the Administrative Court on water supply rankings: GSE appeals to the Council of State – New investment opportunities in the securitisation sector
Law no. 155 of 19.10.17, approved by a Senate resolution dated 11.10.17 and published into Italian Official Gazette no. 254 of 30.10.17, entitled “Delegation to the Government for a consistent reform of the rules governing corporate distress and insolvency” was produced by the work of the Rordorf Committee.
The GSE (Italian Authority for Energy) appealed judgment no. 8997/17 issued by the Administrative Court of Latium and, pending the outcome of the appeal proceedings, withheld the payment of the grants under Ministerial Decree of 23.06.16 to the stations listed in the IDRO_RG2016 Registry (besides the plants belonging to Public Bodies).
The Italian market of Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) has been undergoing a steady growth and is attractive for Italian and foreign professional investors, including by virtue of the new rules set forth in Law Decree no. 50/17, which introduced a good number of innovations to the securitisation legislation.
