In 2010, LES Italia promoted, under the patronage of the Italian Patent and Trademark Office, the publication of a popular booklet entitled “Intellectual Property - A Tool for Economic Growth in the Third Millennium,” aimed at young people, students or technical designers, who knew little or nothing about IP.

On the occasion of World Intellectual Property Day (2023 World IP Day), LES Italia decided to follow up on that initiative and, in the wake of its other numerous publications accomplished over the years such as the Quaderni della Proprietà Industriale (Industrial Property Notebooks), has produced in collaboration with NETVAL, a network of Italian public and university research, a much more challenging and articulate work entitled “Intellectual Property: new perspectives for sustainable growth.”

We share the contribution of our Professionals who edited some of the chapters. In particular, that of Mattia Dalla Costa “Licensing Agreements, Cooperation and Technology Transfer in the Industrial Sector,” Alessia Ferraro “Copyright: Exploitation of Patrimonial Rights over the Work and Introduction to Contracts in Copyright Law,” and Leonardo Reggio “Taxation and Intellectual Property Rights.”
