Online resignation: first clarifications of the Ministry of Welfare – Are you giving counterfeited products as a present? Forget it… – Law Decree 18/2016: applicability of fixed duties to some real estate transfers
Pursuant to art. 26 of Legislative Decree no. 151/15, lawmakers introduced an electronic procedure to notify ones voluntary resignation, and mutually terminate an employment contract; and starting from 12.03.16, this will be the only viable procedure for employees.
The Italian Supreme Court, in its ruling no. 12870 of 30.03.16, gave a new crackdown in the fight against counterfeiting and the spread of counterfeited products: illegal holders of counterfeited merchandises will be charged of the offence of fencing (Article 648 of the Italian criminal code), unless they prove to be the final purchasers of said goods.
Law Decree no. 18/2016 introduced an interesting novelty in our legal system with reference to the taxation of some types of conveyances.
