CBA strengthens its ESG commitment with the adoption of a new Code of Ethics and the establishment of a Permanent Ethics Committee

CBA continues its journey of growth built on social responsibility, sustainability and collective well‑being.

The Firm announces the adoption of its Code of Ethics: a framework that enshrines our shared values and translates them into concrete principles and behaviours for the benefit of all stakeholders.

The Code represents a cornerstone of the Firm’s growth strategy and helps to embed ESG objectives in an increasingly structured way into the Firm’s day to day operations and governance, with particular focus on the social and environmental impacts of activities and on the development of an increasingly sustainable governance model.
To ensure effective implementation, the Firm has established a Permanent Ethics Committee, tasked with promoting and monitoring the application of its ethical principles and developing projects aimed at rolling out policies and operational tools that align with the values set out in the Code.

The Committee is composed of a diverse team in terms of seniority, gender and office location, and includes Ilaria A. Belluco and Gianvito Riccio (Partners), Federica Rota (Senior Associate), and Giulia Cipriani, Matteo Maci and Veronica Trani (Associates). This diverse composition underscores CBA’s firm‑wide commitment and fosters intergenerational dialogue that blends the experience of those who have grown within the Firm with the fresh perspectives brought by our newer colleagues.

In its own words, the Committee captures the authentic origin of the document: a participatory, horizontal process deeply rooted in daily professional life.
“The Code of Ethics is a living document belonging to everyone at CBA” says Veronica Trani, Chair of the Committee “It is neither a mere procedural formality nor a sterile compliance exercise; the Code was born from the dialogue among those who engage with the Firm every day, and it is inspired by those who truly embody these values and principles beyond any rhetoric. For this reason, I can truly say that we are witnessing an expression of shared identity, vision and responsibility.”

This initiative represents another important step by the Firm in advancing high‑impact social and environmental projects, strengthening governance mechanisms and contributing to the creation of a workplace that is increasingly conscious, transparent and respectful.
