La riqualificazione energetica nel Real Estate
Author: Francesco Assegnati
Nowadays, Real Estate is at core of national energy efficiency policies, considering that one third of domestic consumptions are absorbed by residential and office buildings. In fact, the traditional methods of production and consumption of thermal and electric power, and the planning techniques of those buildings where consumption originates were developed in an era when energy was cheap, the environmental impact was not felt as a problem and consumers’ behaviour was considered irrelevant. To date, the progressive awareness of ecological issues and the significant increase in energy bills, combined with a harsh international economic crisis, have caused the issue of efficiency to attain the highest ranking of the priorities agenda for corporate directors and public managers. In this volume, five primary companies reflect on the strategies to make real properties more efficient and on the costs and benefits of these transactions, presenting case studies, new professional skills and taking stock on the state of the art of the relevant legislation, under the advice a Law Firm specialized in the matter.
