“Green pass” goes into effect: possible uses and personal data protection

The Green Pass is mainly meant to facilitate the exercise of the right to free movement within the European Union, but it is not a mandatory precondition for this, as explained in the proposal for a Regulation on green certificates to facilitate free and safe movement in Europe, submitted to the EU Commission on March 17, 2021.
