In a recent contribution (QE 29/9), we reviewed the EU's package of measures to combat unfair commercial practices related to green transition (so-called greenwashing), focusing on the proposed Directive No 85/2023 and highlighting how the European Commission warmly welcomed the political agreement reached between the European Parliament and the Council on these new EU rules aimed at providing consumers with the tools to act in favour of green transition.
