With the proposal for a Directive No. COM (2023) 532 final of 12 September 2023 (also known as 'BEFIT', an acronym for 'Business in Europe: Framework forIncome Taxation'), the European project to introduce a single code for the taxation of groups of Companies is back on the agenda.
