CBA in the sale of Italpack to San Polo Lamiere S.p.A.
Italpack, a service centre active in the processing and distribution of tinplate, was sold to San Polo Lamiere, a historic Parma service centre specialising in the processing and distribution of steel.
In the transaction, the Azzolini family, owner of 50% of Italpack, was assisted for the legal and tax profiles related to the sale of its stake, by CBA Studio Legale e Tributario with a team composed of partner Stefano Petrecca and senior associate Valerio Cirimbilla.
Vito Albanese, owner of the remaining 50% of Italpack, was assisted in the sale of its share by SC&A Dottori Commercialisti e Revisori legali with partner Franco Cadoppi.
San Polo Lamiere was assisted by PwC TLS Avvocati e Commercialisti, which acted as legal advisor with a multi-disciplinary team that handled both the contractual and corporate aspects, with a team led by partner Filippo Zucchinelli (in the photo, left) and comprising director Giulio della Casa and manager Valeria Chiocca, and the labour law aspects with a team led by partner Francesca Tironi and comprising senior manager Silvia Basile and senior associate Giada Contini.
Scouting Capital Advisors, on the other hand, acted as financial advisor, with a team composed of managing partner Filippo Bratta, associate director Elena Dal Pozzo and analyst Alessandro Polazzi.
