The benefit corporation is a “typical company”

The term benefit corporation (or benefit company) refers to those companies, defined in article 1, paragraphs 376-384, Italian Law 208/15 (“Stability Law 2016”), which, by statutory provision, are legally required to focus their economic activity not only on profit-making, but also on altruistic purposes of "common benefits".
