Ban-Up S.p.A. came to light by virtue of the initiative and support, on the one hand, of its Founder Members: Paolo Anselmo, Dario Caleffi and Luca Canepa, an experienced business angel boasting important achievements; and, on the other hand, CBA Studio Legale e Tributario which seized and combined the different needs of the players involved, thus harmonizing the “wishes” and “requirements” of all ecosystem operators to create a new beneficial pattern of development and innovation.

Ban-Up is a customized consulting company for the enhancement and acceleration of innovative business concepts for start-ups and Italian and foreign companies, eligible to promote their structured and systemic growth, through a synergy between specific professional expertise and an international network of contacts. 

This initiative was also supported by foreign operators and companies of international standing, headquartered either in Italy or in the United Kingdom, which felt an urge for innovation and wished to indirectly develop their R&D departments.

The goals consist in setting up synergies with the SMEs in an open-innovation perspective and assist them throughout Epic Sim S.p.A.’s digital platform, with whom Ban-Up has a special relationship, where start-ups will be able to submit their projects. Epic is the brokerage company that set up a private investment community through an advanced fintech platform where (institutional and private qualified) professional investors may seize opportunities to fund the development projects submitted by Italian SMEs and start-ups.
