CBA hosts the first debate on the Constitutional Referendum vote, first round in Milan
On 3 October 2016, at the Milan offices of our law firm, a (closed-door) debate took place between two prominent constitutional jurists: Prof. Franco Bassanini (who inspired another important change to the Fifth Title of the Constitution in 2001) and Prof. Valerio Onida (former President of the Constitutional Court).
In accordance with the technical and legal purposes of the meeting, the contents of the Reform were explained under the different points of view of both of these famed and influential jurists, whose opinions on the merits are unreservedly divergent.
On this occasion, the Energy & Infrastructures group prepared an illustrative booklet of the content of the Reform, especially with regard to the Fifth Title, in an attempt to offer their contribution to an informed choice in the polls.
