ENPAM’s properties to be sold for EUR 842 million: CBA on the tax aspects

The BoD of the National Doctors and Dentists’ Social Security and Welfare Body (Ente di previdenza dei medici e degli odontoiatri, ENPAM) has accepted the US investment manager firm Apollo Global Management’s offer for the purchase of all the real estate assets directly owned by ENPAM. Properties are to be sold for EUR 842 million, which will result in a gain for ENPAM of EUR 156 million, intended to reinforce the sustainability of the social security system for medical practitioners.
CBA’s team headed by Stefano Petrecca provided assistance with the legal aspects of the transaction.
