Ecofin pushing for soaring taxation of digital economy

A few steps forward, but the negotiations on the taxation of income of huge hi-tech corporations, such as Google e Apple in Europe were deferred to 4 December 2018.
Meanwhile, Italy has already adopted its own web tax in the 2018 Budget Law: 3% tax on the value of any single digital transaction, which is expected to come into force on 1st January 2019.
