In its judgment no. 2600 of 2.02.18, the Italian Supreme Court expressed its position on the verbal withdrawal of one of the parties from a collective bargaining agreement. The judges acknowledged that the general principle of “freedom of form” is applicable to collective bargaining agreements, as well.

In the framework of the provisions of law in protection of the purchaser, article 1, paragraph 63 et seq., of law no. 124/17 provides for the opportunity to deposit the purchase price with the notary public until the registration of the sale agreement, similarly to many other European Countries, such as Germany, Austria and France.
