Wealth Management, firms seek asset shields

Quote by Nicola Canessa: "Over the years, Italian entrepreneurs have become increasingly aware that proper governance must also be set up with a view to prevention, in order to ensure the business continuity with a prudent management of the generational handover. This awareness has led to an ever-increasing demand for assistance in these matters, which, however, in order to be effective requires a thorough analysis of each individual case in order to provide the most tailor-made legal framework, thus tailored to the individual assets and family situations. Awareness of the importance of proper asset management, also with a view to the generational handover, has however not only affected Italian entrepreneurs but also individuals with medium-to-large assets who increasingly wish to identify the correct legal instrument that can offer greater protection and that can also avert future family disputes. Having also opened a specific art law department at CBA, I have assisted an increasing number of art collectors and foundations wishing to protect their art assets, which require specific expertise in order to be able to provide effective and comprehensive assistance".
