Right to smart-working for super frail workers extended until 31 December 2023

Pursuant to Article 8 of Decree-Law No. 132 of 29 September 2023, the right to agile working for so-called super-fragile public and private employees, i.e. those suffering from chronic pathologies with low clinical compensation and with particular connotations of seriousness (specifically identified in the Ministerial Decree of 4 February 2022), was extended from 30 September to 31 December 2023. This right to smart-working is an absolute right of the employee concerned, as it is not conditioned by the compatibility of the work performance with remote work.
