TISG, SRI Global and Finvacchi submit expression of interest for the acquisition. CBA advises Finvacchi.

SRI Global Limited Holding Company, controlled by Giulio Gallazzi (52%) and owned by Finvacchi S.r.l. (48%), has today submitted a non-binding expression of interest to the Board of Directors of The Italian Sea Group S.p.A. (TISG) and the Court-appointed Judicial Commissioners for the acquisition of the company's business as a going concern.
The initiative is led by Giulio Gallazzi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SRI Global Limited, and Bernardo Vacchi, through his investment holding company Finvacchi. At this preliminary stage, they are advised by Angelo Bonissoni of CBA and MAIM Group.
Together, SRI Global and Finvacchi manage approximately €500 million in assets under management, reflecting the financial strength and investment capacity of the consortium. Both groups also have extensive experience in acquiring and managing industrial and financial investments, as well as in restructuring, turnaround and business recovery transactions.
The proposed acquisition is based on a long-term industrial strategy aimed at preserving the integrity of the TISG group by maintaining its decision-making centre, know-how and key strategic functions in Italy, while ensuring business continuity at its existing sites and safeguarding employment, the supply chain and the wider industrial ecosystem.
The plan also seeks to strengthen TISG's competitiveness through innovation, operational efficiency and commercial development, including potential partnerships with leading Italian industrial operators.
Its objective is to preserve and enhance TISG as a flagship of Italian industrial excellence, supporting its relaunch with financial, industrial and managerial expertise while creating the conditions for sustainable long-term growth.
The expression of interest is preliminary and non-binding and remains subject to the completion of due diligence and the negotiation and execution of definitive transaction agreements.
