ESMA's new powers to improve credibility in ratings. Here is all the latest news and information on the measure that has been in force since 1 January 2025.
The regulatory landscape relating to ESG criteria continues to evolve rapidly. On 12 December 2024, Regulation (EU) 2024/3005 on the transparency and integrity of environmental, social and governance (ESG) rating activities was published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU), representing another important step in strengthening trust in and credibility of ESG assessments.
