CBA advises Pioneer Point Partners on the acquisition of Arpex

Pioneer Point Partners LLP (Pioneer), a UK-based investment firm specializing in sustainable infrastructure, has signed and closed an agreement to acquire Arpex, a leading Italian provider of photovoltaic solutions for the commercial and industrial sectors.

Through this investment – the third made via Pioneer’s second institutional fund, Pioneer Infrastructure Partners II SCSp – the UK investment firm strengthens Arpex’s financial standing and position as a key player in the decarbonization of Italian businesses.

Pioneer was advised by the international law firm Gianni & Origoni, with an interdisciplinary team led by partners Fabio Ilacqua and Luigi Maraghini Garrone.

CBA advised Pioneer on tax and deal structuring matters with a team led by partner Michele Citarella and including associate Luca Vitale.

Ernst & Young handled the accounting and financial due diligence, while Prothea served as financial advisor.
