CBA advises Chaberton Sunscape JV on the acquisition by Green Utility S.p.A. of a ready-to-build photovoltaic project

Green Utility S.p.A. has acquired from Chaberton Sunscape JV—a joint venture between Chaberton Energy and Sunscape, 100% of the equity interest in a special purpose vehicle holding a ready-to-build photovoltaic project with an installed capacity of approximately 5 MW, located in Tuscany.

Chaberton Sunscape JV was advised on tax and real estate matters by the Energy & Real Estate team of CBA Studio Legale e Tributario, comprising Francesco Assegnati (Partner), Pierluigi Alessio (Associate), Andrea Motta (Senior Associate), and Federica Uggeri (Associate). M&A aspects were handled by Parola Associati, with a team led by Partner Andrea Coluzzi and Senior Associate Federica Re.

Green Utility S.p.A. was advised by BIP Law & Tax with a team led by Equity Partner Marco Muscettola and including Manager Bianka Vecaj and Seniors Matteo Vagnoli and Clara Frasca on the transaction documents, as well as on corporate and real estate due diligence matters, and Senior Manager Nicoletta Bezzi on issues related to the permitting and authorisation process.
