CBA advises Banco BPM on project financing for Idrolap and Simo
CBA advised Banco BPM on a project finance transaction involving two hydroelectric plants, carried out in favour of Idrolap and Simo, both part of the Scotta group, a leading player in the construction of dams, tunnels, hydraulic power stations, thermal power plants and energy production facilities.
CBA assisted the financing bank with due diligence activities, as well as the drafting and negotiation of financial documentation. The team was led by partner Francesco Dialti and included senior associate Vincenzo Cimmino and associate Lucrezia Ghezzi for finance-related matters, while senior associate Barbara Orlando and associate Anna Caggiu advised on the administrative and regulatory law aspects.
Idrolap and Simo were advised by Arcus Financial Advisors as their financial advisor, with a team comprising Founding Partner Stefano Cassella, Senior Partner Federico Mander, and Director Stefania Gatti.
Notarial activities were handled by notary Anna Irma Farinaro of La Porta Notarial Firm.
